CVA has been fighting for new leadership at Veterans Affairs for over a year. Through its VA Accountability Project, CVA exposed the million-vet backlog and the failure of leadership despite increased VA funding and resources to fix the problem.
Today, VA Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned and has been held accountable. There’s more work to do, but thanks to the hard work of CVA to bring this issue to light, we’re one step closer to fixing the systemic problems at the VA and giving our veterans the care they deserve.
